Antenna Measurements

Every antenna comes through our chamber

Measurement isn't a step we outsource or skip. Every antenna we ship is verified in our own anechoic chamber before it leaves the building.

Specs are only worth what backs them up

A datasheet is a promise. A measurement is proof.

Typical performance is what a representative sample would produce in ideal conditions. Real antennas have real tolerances: small variations in machining, plating thickness and assembly that shift the curves by fractions of a dB.

Without measuring your specific unit, you don't know what you have. So we measure every antenna we ship — against the same calibration, in the same chamber, by the same team that designed it.

What we measure

A full passive characterization for every antenna

Every device is tested against multiple parameters in a single setup, with calibration procedures defined by the same RF engineers who design our antennas.

Inside the chamber

A far-field anechoic chamber, on site

Our in-house measurement facility covers the full RF range we work in, from 0.7 to 120 GHz. Every antenna we ship is characterised here against its design model — by the same team that designed it.

On-site facility

Broadband single-range setup

Complete antenna characterisation at measurement distances up to 4.5 m, set to suit each antenna's size. Every antenna we make is verified here before it leaves the building.

Premium instrumentation

Vector network analyzers, signal generators and receivers from the industry's top three measurement equipment makers. Each instrument is calibrated and configured for the specific frequency ranges and characteristics of the antennas we build.

RF SPIN Antenna Portal

Your measurement data, online, on the unit itself

Every antenna ships with a QR code and a 4-character token. Scan it, open the Antenna Portal, and your unit's calibration certificate and data are there — on mobile or desktop, in the formats you actually use.

Data levels

Three ways to receive your antenna’s data

Every antenna ships with documentation. Choose how much detail you want — from typical performance to a full measured dataset for your specific serial number.

Typical data with calibration certificate

Reference performance representative of the product, delivered as a PDF datasheet alongside a calibration certificate with pass / fail results.

Professional choice

Measured data, ready to use

Your unit’s actual measurement in machine-readable formats — ready to integrate into your measurement setup, with interactive charts and a calibration certificate.

Plus, with the full certification record

Everything in Plus, with an extended calibration certificate covering the complete measured dataset — for projects that need the documented record alongside the data.
